Just a tad overwhelmed with life right now. I’m spending my Spring Break catching up on work, that has seemed to pile up out of nowhere (aka a first draft of my Senior Thesis that is due in less than 2 weeks time, AH!). With school, my internship, a seemingly dwindling social life and a little thing called the “real world” looming in the not too far off distance, Senior year has been, well, quite interesting to say the least.
I’ve been feeling a bit nostalgic as of late (honestly, when am I not). I miss Spain terribly and long for the warm days of summer to heat up these gloomy winter days. Blehhhh. Summer come now!
Anywho, watched the season finale of The City the other night. My fave moment was when the legend herself, DVF, had a heart-to-heart chat with Whit Whit. She’s an utter inspiration.
Priceless words of wisdom:
“Absence is to love, what the wind is to fire. When it’s a small fire the wind kills it, but when it’s a real fire it intensifies it.”
“The most important relationship you have in your life, is the relationship you have with yourself. No matter what happens, you will always be with yourself.”
Preach it sister!!
No wonder she’s reached where she has; profoundly wise and self-confident. Take note.
